Unroasted, green coffee beans from Brazil are aged inside of a retired, double-oak whiskey barrel from High Bank Distillery in Columbus, OH!
Over the course of a couple weeks, the aromatics of the whiskey inside the barrel penetrate the green coffee beans, creating a unique brew that gives you everything you love about the taste of whiskey, without the alcohol.
Notes of sweet bread, fermented fruit and star anise are the main carry-overs from the aromatics of the whiskey and they are the perfect compliment to the nutty and chocolatey notes of the Brazilian coffee.
Enjoy this one black, or with a dash of cream and sugar, either way you will not be disappointed!
