Favorite Coffee: Goldberry's Blend

Doug started Goldberry in 2010 after dabbling in home roasting for a short time. His passion for roasting great coffee while also helping others led him to start not only Goldberry, but also our sister non-profit company, Coffee Growing Community. Doug drives the ship when it comes to sourcing coffee and developing the perfect roast profile for each bean. He also is the main caretaker of making sure Goldberry’s values and approach don’t get compromised as the business grows.

Favorite Coffee: Manana Breakfast Blend

Pete joined his dad, Doug, at Goldberry in 2018 when the coffee was still being roasted 3 lbs at a time in the back of a yoga studio. From being a SCA certified barista, to roasting coffee to designing and consulting on café buildouts, Pete has had his hands in a little bit of everything as the company has grown. While his main focus now is on working with new and existing wholesale partners as well as overseeing Goldberry’s marketing initiatives, he still loves getting involved behind the bar and the roaster whenever he can.
